Explosive Weekend in Indiana!

Adam shared Friday night and it was powerful! He challenged people to believe God for more than the status quo but to see the Kingdom of God come to the earth! We had a good mix of young adults and most of the adults from the seminar came as well! People were so hungry! The young adults lead the worship and the presence of God was so thick in the room! They continued with their house of prayer after the meeting.

Saturday we had a packed church for the leadership consultation. It was amazing! The Lord literally gave Steve and Rhonda each message before they spoke. His heart was focused on the communities becoming a dwelling place where He could rest among them. We felt the passion in God’s heart for His people to worship Him.

That night we applied the teaching and gathered to be a house of prayer. We had a sweet time of worship and then we prayed together out of Ephesians for the church to be “rooted and grounded in the love of Christ”. It was a great night of prayer!

Sunday night we hosted the premiere of “An Appalachian Dawn” the Kentucky transformation story at the Methodist church. The place was packed out! Rhonda told stories of transformation before the documentary was shown for those who arrived early. The documentary was one of the most powerful the Sentinel Group has ever produced and it’s right here in the United States!!

The weekend was a breakthrough weekend! To the extent that the religious spirit that prevails over the area was provoked. At the conclusion of the documentary Sunday night a man manifesting a religious spirit hijacked the meeting with a bizarre “message from the Lord”. Despite most kind attempts he persisted until he was escorted out. It was a very awkward and unfortunate ending to our exciting night. However, it was a great exercise for the church in her discernment and convictions!

Peoria Weekend Intensive Round 2!

We had another great weekend in Peoria with so many amazing people that are truly spiritual revolutionaries. One of the young adults hosted a "Luther" party at his house, and many showed up to watch the story of Martin Luther and the Reformation. The Lord is stirring and preparing hearts. This is another group of people who have eyes of faith, and want to see the Lord bring His Kingdom to Earth! Praise the Lord!

Weekend Transformation Intensive – Bradley University, Peoria, IL

Processing the internal revolution in our hearts at Chi Alpha House

The first class of the weekend transformation intensive was awesome! We had over 30 people, and we met at the Garret Culture Center on Bradley University campus.
The first class focused on three main sessions: In session 1 we learned what revival from heaven IS and its timeless characteristics and we heard testimony of many great revivals. Then we watched a DVD of the Hebrides revival that interviewed people who were a part of that great revival! You could still feel the sweet atmosphere of revival as they shared! It provoked such hunger in our hearts!
Session 2 focused on the progressive nature of redemption, church history and the catalytic role revival plays in advancing the church forward toward the end of the age. There is a grand plan and history is God’s story! Then we looked at a chart of the redemptive story and discovered where we are now in history and what the Lord has ahead for us in the coming final great revival!
Finally our last session we learned about the role of spiritual revolutionaries in revival history and heard about the many heroes through revival history who lived radical lives abandoned to Jesus and His Kingdom!
Monday the class met again in the Chi Alpha prayer room and we had an honest discussion about what it means to be a spiritual revolutionary? We talked about the revolution needed in our own hearts to get untangled from the spirit of the age and resist the anti-christ system the permeates our culture.
Our “homework” for the next three weeks is to ask Jesus to bring revelation to any areas of our hearts and minds that are in conformity to the opposing kingdom and value system. We are asking the Lord to highlight areas of compromise in our hearts, secure our identities in Him, and remove insecurities that lead to passivity. We were also encouraged to gather our friends and watch “Luther” and “Amazing Grace” and stir our hearts about spiritual revolutionaries in history who changed the course of history in their generation!
Our next class is October. Check out www.chialphapeoria.com to register!

Spiritual Explosion in Bryan, Texas!

I (Rhonda) recently traveled to Bryan Texas to meet with pastors who have been praying and fasting together all summer following the murder of a young man in their community. While we only scheduled one evening meeting together to share the vision of transformation of the community, the Lord had much more in mind!
The Monday evening meeting exploded with expectation and desperation! When I walked into the auditorium I was greeted by about 100 people and an atmosphere saturated with the presence of Jesus. These were hungry people!
The people in the room represented many parts of the community – an interesting “mix” like I had never seen before! Ex-gang members with the glory of God shining on their faces helped me set up my book table. The Chief of Police other officers sat in the back row, focused and intense. Member of the city council were there and hungry for God. University students had gathered, the house of prayer staff was there, ex-drug addicts were in the room, Hispanic and African American and white pastors.
In spite of the wide diversity of the people who had gathered you could feel the spirit of unity and what they wanted – they were hungry for Jesus! They were ready to do whatever it takes to prepare the way of the Lord into their community! These were leaders and people that shared the 3 most critical characteristics of those that God’s presence begins to rest on: humility, desperation and hunger.
When I shared the message of hope about God’s heart to bring supernatural transformation to their hurting community it resonated – they knew they were being consecrated by the Lord but they didn’t know unto what. When they heard the vision they received it with joy and passion.
That Monday night meeting lead to a 3 ½ hour breakfast meeting with leaders the following day. The breakfast consultation lead to a 4 hour lunch with the leaders on Wednesday! They were hungry and desperate for God! I have never seen anything like it!
Wednesday night was the highlight for me. I was scheduled to speak to a Hispanic congregation. By the time we got to Wednesday the Lord had so stirred the people of the city at least 6 other congregations cancelled their Wednesday services and told their people to come to the meeting!! The place was packed! The atmosphere was charged with expectation, desperation and hunger!
The pastors have decided to lead their congregations through the “Face to Face – Divine Experiment” in a couple of weeks! In order to prepare their own hearts to lead their congregations through, they have shut themselves away in a hotel from for 3 days to fast and pray and get their hearts right with the Lord and each other. We’re praying with them and excited to hear what the Lord says and how we can serve them in the days ahead!

Texas A & M... The Story Gets Better!

During my time in Bryan I also met with student ministry leaders on the University campus about preparing themselves for spiritual revolution by consecrating themselves unto the Lord. Tuesday evening I shared my heart with 25 student leaders. It was awesome – they were so open, so hungry! So ready! Without any questions they said “yes”! They want to consecrate themselves onto the Lord and lead the students in their ministries to do the same.
Wednesday afternoon I met with 12 more student leaders. It was so powerful! When I shared my heart about consecration a young woman beside me began to cry uncontrollably. Another leader shared the Lord had been speaking to him for 2 months about consecrating himself! Another leader said “Rhonda it’s like we see a bike, we know it’s a bike and we’re suppose to ride it but we don’t know how”. When I shared with them about the “Face to Face” consecration it all made sense to them. They said “yes” immediately!
Since those meetings the Lord is supernaturally connecting students to pray for transformation! He is calling some to prepare to document what He’s about to do!
The student ministry leaders are committed to going through the Divine Experiment with the city. Imagine a city where the pastors and their congregations, combined with students at a University all begin to consecrate themselves unto the Lord – humbling themselves, seeking His face, repenting together??
The Lord has His eye on Bryan Texas, on His church and on the campus. Please pray for the Lord to fan the flame that has ignited until it’s a roaring fire of revival that sweeps across the city and region!!

An Impartation of Faith in Peoria!

Rhonda and Adam Moser were recently in Peoria for a powerful weekend. Friday night the Fiji team spoke to about 100 young adults at “The Garage”. We shared our hearts and convictions and then we prayed over everybody! The power of God came and many people received an impartation of faith and spiritual vision for seeing God’s Kingdom come in transforming revival!

Saturday morning the Fiji team met with the pastors/leaders of the city and again, as we shared with them all that we witnessed and the fresh conviction about the power of God’s word to bring transformation, faith increased in the hearts of the leaders.

The picture is of a table we saw in Fiji, and it very closely resembles the State of Illinois! There were 17 of the 22 of from Illinois, and it was quite the surprise. We took this once piece, mahogany cross-section of wood as a personal sign that the Lord really took us to Fiji because He longs to transform our land and us as a people!

Sunday night we joined the congregations in Peoria who are crying out for transforming revival in their city! We cried out for the manifest presence of God, asking His transforming power to touch us and all of the Peoria area! Rhonda preached about being living stones that build the dwelling place where God’s presence can rest (Eph 2&3, 1 Peter 2:4). She encouraged us that the Lord is building us together into a spiritual home. The Lord had showed her a vision of Jesus, dressed in burlap out in a dirty field. He was picking up stones. She was dumbfounded, and asked, “What are you doing?” He responded, “You don’t know what I can do with this stone.” Jesus has come to refine us, and transform us from being opaque to being translucent and brilliant, reflecting the glory of God! The process that he has is the fire of circumstances, and then He cements us with His love as He fits us together next to other “living stones.” This process is not always easy, but is part of the sanctification, and He breaks our rough edges as we are fitted together. Then we together become the “dwelling place of God in the Spirit” and His glory and presence will begin to rest upon His corporate church. The Lord met each of us in a personal and corporate way. We left there desiring to become the living stones that He wants us to be, allowing Him to shine through us and make “His manifold wisdom known”!

Latest Update from Tavua!

Bula Rhonda,

Well I am back home resting after the 2weeks HTL process at Rukuruku, but the church leaders continue to update me of the great things that God is doing in the community.

Fish, crabs, and other sea creatures that they had once enjoyed but had been taken away from them for almost 20 years are now back in the reefs. They all just turn up, in huge quantity. Two other surrounding villages are being blessed because of this. The woman folk of the village went out to catch crab on Tuesday (6th July 2010), they came singing and praising the Lord cause He has healed their land resulting in the abundance of crabs they caught. I was told that the catch they had on Tuesday was rare and for the first time for them to see that after all these years of dwelling on that land.

The word of God that I received from the Lord for Rukuruku was from Joel 2.....It is a prophecy of what God will do to this community.

The Lord said that He will do Great things in Rukuruku and they need not to fear but be joyous and praising the Lord for He will do Great things to them.

The HTL team are already facilitating a process in Sigatoka and I have just received a call today from one of the islands outside of Nadi that they want us to come and help them...so it is more of a Macedonian Call....So in a few weeks we will be there to do HTL process. The name of the island is Yanuya. I believe that the river that burst from Rukuruku is now flowing to other communities.

Thank you for your continuous prayer support, we really value your teams input into all that happened at Tavua.

Update 3 from Tavua: Late Week 2

Wow guess what, last night I just got to preach for about 25minutes when the presence of the Lord intervene and I just couldn't continue and at that same time people were shaking everywhere inside the makeshift and I just ended up calling them forward, everybody came running form all direction, yes they did not walk but literally ran to the alter......and the presence of the Lord just swept everybody to the floor.....As that was happening, our prayer team that were praying at the porch of the house where you (Females) stayed at...their eyes were opened and they saw that Jesus was standing at the Pulpit and a river burst out from where Jesus was and right into the makeshift.....and they didn't even know what was actually taking place in the meeting venue. Yes HE showed up and everybody were drawn to HIM.

We believe that God is going to do things in Rukuruku that we haven't seen before.

Well God definately is in town....and when that happens you know what follows...healing....blessings and miracles.......
Thank you for labouring with us here in Rukuruku, Tavua.

Blessings
Savenaca

Update 2 from Tavua: Middle of Week 2

Greetings from Dodo,
We are going into the second week of process in Tavua, and God has already starting to show up in the village. I will tell you what has happened in the village after just 1 week of the process. The majority of the villagers are sugarcane farmers, and for several years they have been asking the government's assistance by providing a truck to transport their cane to the mill. Yesterday, thanks to the faithfulness of God in His word, they received not one, but two 7 ton trucks for the villagers to keep.
Not only that, these farmers did not harvest their cane last season because of financial constraints faced by them in the cost of labor( cutters) . That same day, the mill called these farmers to come and collect their checks because their cane is going to be harvested. Now they have the money for labor and the trucks, harvesting will start as soon as the HTL process is over. One of these farmers is the chief of the tribe himself.
In the service every evening, the pastors had a hard time controlling the people because nearly everybody wants to share testimonies of extraordinary things that they are experiencing in the villages.
An old man stepped up to confess that he once sacrificed a bullock to a ten headed snake god. It has haunted his family and friends that they did the ritual with. Now he is being set free, praise the Lord!
Yesterday morning we saw three qualified but unemployed brothers in one family receive call-ups from work places in Suva and Nadi!
As from today onwards the Healing the land team will adopt the HARP N BOWL WORSHIP AND PRAYER STYLE, and it is found to be very effective in the process. Thank you guys for teaching us!

Update from Tavua: End of Week 1

Greetings from the HTL team here at Rukuruku (the village) in Tavua. We are all blessed to be right in the midst of the awakening of God’s Presence. Well, your team was a blessing to this community while you were hear, and I believe you still are because of your continued prayer support from your different cities towards the HTL process in Tavua.

The presence of the Lord is hovering the whole community, resulting in healings and blessing that took the community by surprise beginning this morning (29th June). I shared last night from John 5 about Jesus healing a man at the pool at Bethsaida who was crippled for 38 years. Jesus asked the man, “Do you want to be healed?” The Bible says that were many that were sick, but Jesus asked this one man that very important question....and the rest is history. I told the people last night that Jesus is coming to Rukuruku, and He is asking the same question “Do you want to be healed?” to anyone that was crippled. The next few verses it says that the man was healed instantly, suddenly...I told them the Jesus is going to heal and bless their community suddenly...suddenly. After I spoke, the Lord's presence broke loose in the meeting place, softening people’s hearts, and Pastor Bill found it hard to end the meeting last night. God was taking OVER....Amen!...
This morning people begin to come to us and share what God had suddenly done for them....they are of course blessing and miracles....God is Awesome!

We began the home visitation yesterday, and people just openly confess their sins....husband and wives asking forgiveness from each other for committing adultery with another man or woman. The Lord's presence just broke loose in all the homes as people ask and accept forgiveness from family members. Yes, there was a revival of repentance.

Please ask that God would continue to reveal his heart to us regarding the community, and also pray that He continues to shine his presence into the community and in each home. Please also for HTL team to be strengthened by the Lord, as tiredness is slowly creeping in.

Rhonda, please pass on our love and blessing to all the team, and we really acknowledge the great blessing you have been to the HTL team and the Rukuruku community as a whole.
Blessings, Savenaca (Leader of the HTL Team)

Day 9– Tavua Village – Spiritual Atmosphere Change!

The second morning we had a bit more sleep and gathered at 7 AM to pray as a team. As we worshiped we noticed the chatting of people in the village – it sounded so different. As we listened we realized there was a difference in the spiritual atmosphere! There was light and joy coming out of the people, even early in the morning. Our team prayer walked through the village two by two blessing what God was doing, and we felt there was a lightness and joy in the atmosphere that was not there the previous day! The Lord was breaking through as a result of the corporate repentance the night before, and we were so encouraged! We had a powerful time of prophetic prayer and worship that morning in the hut of prayer! The village gathering was also powerful as the HTL leaders taught the people about the consequences of covenant breaking and sexual immorality. Again, at the altar call EVERYONE came forward and repented!

Early in the afternoon we departed for the village for Nadi to prepare for our return home. We spent the afternoon at a hotel getting hot showers, debriefing, and then traveling to the airport with Chief Vuniani and his wife Betty. It was a good time to talk and pray and begin to transition out of Fiji village life and prepare our hearts to come home. Leaving Fiji was hard, but we know this is an on-going Kingdom relationship with many more adventures ahead!

The HTL team continued to teach the word of the Lord in the village during the first week, then the second week (through the first week of July) they will begin visiting every home in the village. They uproot all sin and facilitate the repentance/reconciliation process both between the family and the Lord and with one another. Each home will be spiritually cleansed, anointed, and consecrated to the Lord.

Day 8 – Tavua Village – Worshiping on Ancient Foundations!

We woke up Tuesday morning in Tavua after only a couple hours of sleep…our team was planning on a night-watch for the house of prayer, then at midnight Pastor Bill told us we would have a 5 a.m. prayer time! By time we got settled and got to sleep it was around 2 AM for some, making a short night! At 5 AM we all stumbled back to the prayer-shack, and our flesh was SO WEAK! We leaned into the presence of Jesus and asked for strength! We were also fasting food and there was no coffee to be found., creating a potential flesh crisis for sure!! We pressed in – nobody complained and the team engaged their hearts even in their weakness.
After a powerful prayer time with the HTL team and an hour to get ready for the day, we started the house of prayer. As we entered into worship the Lord strengthened us and began to give prophetic insight into the spiritual climate and what was on God’s heart. We cried out for the word of the Lord to run swiftly through the village as the transformation process began! The Lord opened our eyes to the ancient foundations and gave revelation about the new foundation He was establishing through His word in the community. It was an amazing morning in prayer!! Our weakness didn’t seem to bother the Lord, ha!

Half of our team then went to the village gathering to pray, and the other half kept the “fire burning on the altar,” meaning we prayed and worshipped at the hut of prayer. Many from the village gathered that morning to hear the word of the Lord. The HTL leaders preached a strong word about idolatry!
We discovered that day that our shack was literally a couple feet away from ancient ruins! We could see the stones of one of the first huts in the village. We were stunned because God was uprooting ancient foundations to establish His kingdom, the very thing we had prayed that morning!
That evening we continued the house of prayer and intercession at the gathering, and the whole village came to the gathering to hear the word of the Lord! The hut of prayer was HOT! The Lord brought so much revelation and fire as we prayed and worshiped! At the end of the meeting the ENTIRE VILLAGE REPENTED for idolatry!!! We were privileged to be able to pray with the people in prayer by laying hands on their shoulders. We stood in the middle of a corporate people who were broken before God for their unfaithfulness and spiritual harlotry. It was a powerful, life-changing experience for us and them both.

As the altar time ended people started shouting to look to the sky. There was a sign in the heavens!! A giant circle (halo) had surrounded the moon, almost the circumference of the area where we were meeting. The HTL leaders said “it’s an open heaven” (they see those things frequently), while our team usually does not! It looked like the eye of God looking down on the village. The villagers knew God had heard their cry!! (2 Chronicles 7:15 – “now my eye will be attentive to the prayers made in this place”).

Day 7 in Fiji: Tavua Village – Entering Hostile Territory

We traveled most of the day across the mountains again toward the village of Tavua. When we crossed into the region we felt the shift in the spiritual atmosphere. There had not been a transformed village here before, and you could feel the ancient strongholds in this dark land. Idols were prominent and “guarding” villages, the people looked oppressed, and the spiritual climate felt hostile. As we arrived into the village it had just gotten dark and the spiritual atmosphere was intense! We quickly unpacked and started our “hut of prayer”!
The first thing we did as a team was to confess all our sins out loud, repenting to one another for unkind words, attitudes, etc. We then repented “Fijian style:” On the count of 3 we shouted out all known sin. We cleansed our hearts together before the Lord. We were going into battle, and we wanted to be on the same page and have right hearts before the Lord! It was a powerful time of connecting as a team, and reconnected to the Lord.
The prayer and worship time settled our hearts, and a strange, hostile environment quickly became a sanctuary of the Lord’s presence – an “embassy of heaven”. It was awesome!! We worshipped and prayed all evening, securing the perimeter in the spirit. We felt the Lord’s nearness, and knew we were there on assignment from heaven.

Day 6 in Fiji: Sunday Church

This morning we had church at the base camp! What joy! We sang and worshiped the Lord together for hours! Our team even joined the HTL worship teams, singing songs in Fijian! There was a strong sense of the Lord's presence and so much joy in being together! Rhonda was asked to share the message and she preached a strong exhortation about the Kingdom of God and challenged us to contend as forerunners of the Kingdom in our generation. Fiji is a nation where you can tangibly experience the Kingdom of God on so many levels! We are so thankful to be in a land where we can “see” God's Kingdom expression. The Lord is filling us with faith to pray for His Kingdom to come to our communities even as He has done in Fiji!

Day 5: Nuko, The First Transformed Village in Fiji

We had another exciting truck ride today, this time up into the mountains! We arrived at Nuku just before lunch. Nuku was the first village that was transformed in Fiji in 2003, and it is the village where Reverend Viuniani is the chief. When we walked through the gate of the village, we all felt the manifest presence of the Lord, and it was like a wind of His presence greeted us as we stepped foot in their village! The peace of the Lord was thick and tangible, and we could hardly believe how tangible it was. We all got into the stream that was healed and flows clear. It used to be polluted, and is now pure, even though the source of the stream is still polluted and rusty in color. Again it was surreal to know the story of Nuku, and then to feel and experience in person was awesome. We had a powerful time of prayer in the stream as the pastor and several elders of the village cried out to the Lord on our behalf!

Day 4 in Nateleira, Fiji- A Transformed Village!

These pictures are from the monument at the entrance of the village and the beach near the location of the fire from heaven! We journeyed several hours to the coastal village of Nataleira, which was transformed in May 2004. Before the process, the village was experiencing dry land, untimely deaths, witchcraft, teenage pregnancy, marijuana usage, and dissension with the teenagers and the elders of the village. The stone idols at the entrance of the village were even speaking to people. They began praying and fasting during and all 4 churches started meeting every evening, repenting of their sin and removing all the articles of their idolatry and sin from their homes. The presence of the Lord was restored to the village, and a pillar of fire fell from heaven one morning for about 30 minutes. Following the transformation abundant, large fish were restored, crops were restored, and coral reefs started to grow again! It was surreal for many of us to actually visit this place that we had heard so much about, and had even relayed the story before even visiting here. We enjoyed the beautiful beach and sat listening intently as an Elder of the village shared the story. The curses and problems they were experiencing have stopped, and the change is even evident in the plush green foliage! We had a time of worship and prayer together, asking God to send His fire to our hearts!

Prayer and Worship Night!

Rhonda preached last night on intimacy being the key to transformation. Following the message, our team facilitated a time of prayer and worship following the harp and bowl model, which is prayer and worship together found in Revelation 5:8. It was great!! We took Ephesians 3:14-21 and directed our intercession toward Tavua, the village we're going on Monday to start the transformation process. The Fijian team LOVED the prayer and worship model! We entered together into wave after wave of the worship and glory of God! Another great night of worshiping together!

We are going to continue to model and train the HTL team in prayer and worship. Together we will have a little “hut of prayer” in the village to undergird the transformation process!

Home Visit Testimonies

Our team divided up and went out with 6 HTL leaders to visit homes in the area that are Hindu and Muslim. We were greeted with such openness! They invited us in, served us tea and allowed us to pray for them. The atmosphere here is so open, we couldn't believe the receptivity of the people! The HTL team has been loving this community, and it is a joy to go into the homes with them to minister to people! Tonight we are going to invite the people to join us for worship!

One team went to a Hindu family's home and the woman had ear problems and arm pain prayed for day before. She had no more pain in her arm and most of her hearing was restored! The woman got anointing oil, put Val's hand on her ear, and then had them pray for about 5 minutes. The people in the home previously participated in black magic, and there was still darkness and oppression within the house, and the woman saw the demonic activity. Max the Fijian told her that she had to take responsibility of the black magic done in her house. She proclaimed Jesus as the only true God, and that He was Lord over all the idols. She repented of all the black magic and witchcraft done.

Day 3 in Fiji- Meeting the Fiji Police

The visit from the Police Officers was almost beyond belief. About a year ago, the national police commissioner proposed a new strategy for crime prevention: To ensure that the entire Fiji Police Force has the opportunity to know Jesus, and then make Him known to every precinct in Fiji. Their goal- to have Fiji crime-free by depending on God's help by 2012!

The new “Jesus Strategy” was launched a year ago, and to date the crime has been reduced 12%! It is estimated that 70% of the Fiji Police Force are now born-again Christians! Many Muslim and Hindu police officers have been brought into the Kingdom as well.

The new “program” involves evangelistic crusades led by the police force in uniform in every precinct in Fiji. The police jazz band has now become the Fiji police worship team, and they march through the streets of communities worshiping Jesus and blessing the people. There is a monthly gathering for all police officers and their families in Suva!

The police department is also partnering with other government agencies to solve problems like unemployment, etc. The prison system is also involved by both rehabilitating prisoners as well as reconciling the prisoners to their victims and their families.

The commissioner shared the following convictions about why this dramatic change has occurred in the nation:
They have one strategy for fighting crime: JESUS!
The Jesus Strategy: To act as Jesus did, then the public will be helped. There was not a focus on criminals, but on the people.
No one wants to be a criminal, and it is the circumstances that turn them into criminals. The police now focus on the people and the good qualities of each individual, calling them to righteousness and lives that contribute to the well-being of society.
When there is a focus on criminal activity, the police officers turn into criminals.
The police officers have become counselors to the people, sharing the Word of God and seeing lives changed by His power.
The Hindus and Muslims do accept the Christian police because the reduction in crime is a blessing to them as well.
The Police visit the churches on Sundays to share their vision the members, and to present a new heart and face of the police force to the people. In the past people would see the police, and be fearful because of corruption and brutality, etc. Now they are surprised to see the police officers worshiping the Lord and caring for the people of the community.
The Police want people to understand that they are cared for and protected as friends.
When someone is arrested, they are given the opportunity to be born-again and allow Jesus to change their life. If they do go to prison, they are encouraged to grow in the Lord and attend prayer meetings.
Every month the officers and their families are bussed in for a worship celebration in Suva.

Day 2 in Fiji

We rested on a flat surface for the first time in over 40 hours, and it was splendid. The roosters were greeting us from 3:30 AM on, which was fine (not really). We had a unique opportunity to spend the morning listening to Chief Vuniani teaching on Healing the Land. Wow – a lot to digest but what an awesome time hearing the teaching and all the testimony of transformation in Fiji and other nations.

Tomorrow, the Police Commissioner and several police officers are going to come share with us about the national “Crime Prevention Plan,” which is to evangelize every potential criminal across Fiji! So far, almost every police officer is born-again, and they are holding evangelistic crusades across the nation in uniform, with a 40% reduction in crime!! That should be an interesting time.

Tomorrow afternoon, we are joining the HTL team in home-visits within their neighborhood. They have been ministering into the mostly Muslim/Hindu community with the love of Jesus. As a result, the neighborhood is holding their community meetings at the Healing the Land base, and looking to them for leadership in the community. Imagine that!

We are having a great time, to say the least, and we are blessed beyond our expectation! More updates to follow, and thank you for your prayers and support!

Day 1 in Fiji

With 7 different flights among our team and one bus route, we all made it without any delays or hang-ups! Praise the Lord for the favor and grace He had on getting all 22 of us here safely and on-time! We arrived in Nadi (pronounced Nan-dee) around 5:00 AM Fiji time, which is actually 17 hours ahead of Central time. We loaded vans and drove to a church plant within the city, and we were treated with an amazing breakfast including rolls filled with whipped cream, fresh bread, juice, coffee, papaya, and bananas. We heard the story of how a transformed village actually gave back some land in the city, so that the church could use it. A mountain right outside the door was “Sleeping Giant,” which overlooked Nadi. We then traveled east for about 5 hours on the southern border across the beautiful Fijian countryside towards Nausori. We had one stop at a roadside store full of Fijian goods, and made it to the Healing the Land Base without a problem. We were welcomed with a nice lunch, and then we spent the afternoon relaxing and hanging out with the Healing the Land Team. Our night concluded with a dinner in the main meeting room, followed by a powerful time of worship! When we began worshiping together with the team here it felt like an explosion! The director of the Healing the Land team, Savenacca, then welcomed us and shared about the ministry. What an amazing first day!

Fiji Trip June 13th-23rd

Those of a “different spirit” possess the new land!

Caleb was able to “see” that the land the Lord sent them into was the land of promise. While others were intimidated and filled with unbelief Caleb was stirred with faith that they could do what the Lord called them to do – in spite of the giants and fortified cities!

The Lord is seeking a generation who can “see” the land of promise and step into that land with confidence and faith, abandoning themselves to Kingdom purposes! Our land of promise is our own hearts, families, congregations and communities! God wants to bring restoration and redemption to every part of the “land” where we live!

Jesus is calling us to a spiritual revolution! It’s a revolution out of the status quo of compromised American Christianity! It’s a revolution into intimacy and holiness! It’s a revolution unto the redemption of everything that has been defiled by sin and rebellion! The spiritual revolution is unto supernatural transformation!

God is moving in powerful ways across the earth transforming entire communities with His presence and power! At the beginning of the 21st Century, eight communities were identified as being supernaturally transformed. Today, almost 1,000 communities in 45 nations represented on every continent have been impacted by the fire of transforming revival in just one decade!

Transformation Sweeping Across Fiji

The most pervasive and intentional transformation of communities today is occurring in the nation of Fiji where over 200 communities have already been transformed by the manifest presence and power of God! The transformation of Fiji is occurring at both a national and grass roots level. For Fiji stories click on picture top right!

God is displaying His extravagance in Fiji! His presence, power and mercy are restoring life and bringing healing to hundreds of villages and the work of God is spreading to other islands and nations in the South Pacific. Fiji is one of many communities in the world today that encourages us that our God is a Redeemer and Healer not only of our individual hearts and lives but also of our communities and land, systems and governments.

When you visit a transformed village you can feel the tangible presence of God and see the impact of His Kingdom! Reports from around the nation in these transformed villages are abundant: entire villages experiencing salvation, dramatic healings occurring, dead coral reefs coming to life in 24 hours, polluted water being healed, barren families having children, abundance of fish that had disappeared for 50 years, police leading evangelistic crusades, and a unified, praying church has replaced a competitive, bitter division among believers.

At the heart of this transforming revival is a team of young adults who have committed themselves to contending for God’s glory to cover their nation. The “Healing the Land Team” was formed to help lead villages across the nation in a transformational process based on applying 2 Chronicles 7:14: “if My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

Pioneering a Transformation “Healing the Land Team” for the USA!

Our team has been in relationship with the leaders of the Healing the Land Team for several years. The relationship is deep and connected to God’s purposes for His glory to come to the Western World through supernatural transformation of communities. We recognize that in the area of supernatural transformation we in the Western world are not the experts but must posture our hearts as learners, sitting at the feet and learning from those who have a story to tell. The Lord is using the Fiji team and testimony to help us in the USA understand God’s ways and His word so we can pursue Him unto transformation in our own nation!

Four years ago while I was at a conference in Fiji the Lord spoke to me very clearly saying, “Raise up a healing the land team in Fusion Ministries for the United States”. I was shocked by the weight of the word and confused by the thought – “How could a small ministry like ours ever attempt something like that?”

We are committed to be obedient to the word of the Lord to train up a Healing the Land Team for our nation - a unique assignment in the Western World! This trip is the ground-breaking for the days ahead!

The trip to Fiji in June is not a typical “missions” trip, but a seed-sowing of the supernatural transformation “DNA” from the Fiji team into young adults in the United States. These young adults have a passion to see God’s glory come to our nation!

The trip is exciting because the young adults coming are all part of transformational ministry in their own communities! This is mission with a context, foundation and long-term vision – for our nation! We are building a road to Fiji and back to communities in the United States that are already pursuing transforming revival – fertile, cultivated soil!

Beginning the Journey

Our team is very diverse! Some are just out of high school, some in college, others in the marketplace, and some are already in full-time ministry. One thing is certain: All of us were hand-picked by the Lord to go to Fiji, so that we can bring this experience to our own nation! God provided finances miraculously - some to the exact dollar amount needed! The lifestyle of transformation is already in our hearts, and we are ready to see that dream become a reality where we live. There is a desire to be in the middle of what the Lord is doing and see His Kingdom come on Earth as it is in Heaven, which is something we expect to witness first-hand in Fiji!

Many of us feel as though we are jumping off a cliff into the unknown! But we know in our hearts this will be the most exhilarating adventure of our lives! We are traveling to the other side of the world not as observers, but as hungry, desperate people ready to abandon ourselves to do whatever it takes to see transformation in the Western World!
